    H22 swap wiring ?

so i took some time off of my swap, ive got a 91 accord, 94 usdm h22 wrapped with the stock accord harness. i was gunna originaly run the usdm distributor with an msd iginiton. when i had everything hooked up with the msd, that was when i was throwing all of the codes. i just ordered in an internal coil prelude distributor, before i swaped that one on i had a handful of cels including crank position, and code 15 which is ignition output signal. i just put the new distributor on and ive got the 15 code still there, im sure its a wiring issue, anyone have an idea of were to start to test the wiring.

small update, i just tried testing some wires, the black yellow has power, i know thats good, but when you check the yellow green there is a click when it is grounded? i dont have a wiring diagram anywhere around me but isnt that the trigger for the coil?

You tried clearing the code, right? Does the car start/run?

EDIT: try downloading this (92-96 Prelude service manual):

      http://downloads.hondatech.info/Auto...e%20Manual.zip

and look at page 11-80. It gives you a good flow chart to check things. I already had it, I had to look up where to get it again.

      Good luck!

just swapped out the igniter and still nothing, looks like this is gunna be on hold for a while, just blew a fuel line. i guess this is the kind of fun you have when cars sit.

thanks for the link to the manual, ill give it a try, got nothing but time, wanna get it done this spring, just would be nice to get it started

No problem. I'm in the middle of my own swap right now, so maybe I'll end up having the same problem

              Did you check your coil?

just wanted to say thanks again, found the problem, yellow green wire has power at the distributor, and both sides of the plug for the engine harness to dash harness, and nothing at the ecu

No problem! Weird that it died at the ECU, though.
