broken tps sensor :(

my h22 tps senson was broken on removal of my H motor.... no one wants to sell just the sensor... they want me to buy the whole TB..... 700$ from honda..... my question is will the tps off of a f22a6 TB work on the H22 TB?????

Honestly, I don't know, but if you have one you ought to try it. Or take one off of a friend's car or something.

If your a6 has a tps sensor on it, then yes it will work fine. I believe most honda tps sensors were interchangable.

just be sure to calibrate the tps correctly befor eyou tighten it down. You can find that info in the diy section along with the h23 manifold swap thread i believe

I've heard that a Honda Motorcycle stealership seals just the tps for a CBR and they work.

i have 4 brand new ones with new gaskets and bolts. im asking 50 dollars shipped.

I had the same problem. Got a TPS from F22a6 TB. Set at .45v. i seen them sold for like $70 online. Just google it.

I've broken like three on my civic. It sits like an inch from the firewall and any time somthing goes wrong it finds a way to destroy it's self.

I just threw a code 7 myself. Apparently, the wire running from the main harness to the sensor vanished in thin air. The sensor is not connected to anything. Regardless I ordered one off ebay for $30 shipped. Search ebay for this: New TPS Throttle Position Sensor Honda Accord B16A B18C. I am off to find the gremlin eating my wires.

They're solid. He just has a lot of torque for such a small/light chassis.

ive gone through 3 of them so far. i still havent set the current one on the h22 tb i put on because i dont wanna F it up like I did the other ones. I will adjust when I change out the IACV but until then.... f it, it works.
