Trans Casing....

Seriously though this sucks. I was under my car trying to fix one thing and then I noticed this... I guess now I gotta buy my lsd trans as i dont see this thing lasting long at all. I dont know if im paranoid or what but i had been thinking lately that something drivetrain related was feeling funny but couldnt quite tell what it was. anyways...

jyardbandits tranny on his gsr is MUCH worse then that and his car is 100% fine

They are definitely cracks.... I can run my fingers across them and you can feel them. Im really worried about it because i know with my luck if its gonna break its gonna be at the worst possible time and/or location..

My trans has been like that for the entire time I've owned the car. I believe it is just dirt build up on casting flaws...I wouldn't worry about it.

same as above. my tranny has the samething. basically its those stress cracks when hitting vtec too often

wow that is so weird...there like pressure cracks...I dunno what would cause this, heat? someone using this as a jacking point?

Mine has them as well. I wouldn't worry about them. Imperfections in casing.
