I own an F22, which of course has the common fast idle problem, what are some common problems that the H22 run into?

lol @ too much torque. I'm sure the swap is worth it right? I'm debating if I should buy one and just throw it in my car, or buy one and slowly add on to it as I get the money. My current motor is still running strong, I just thought it would be cool to have a project motor to play around with to become more knowledgeable about and once I'm satisfied I'd then swap it. I've already started reading books and taking notes about the h22, but I'm more of a hands on learner..

No it does not. The auto tensioner just needs to get changed every timing change if your motor is stock. The only reason people go manual is if they have an aggressive valvetrain or cam. The auto tensioner tends to skip with more aggressive setups.Originally posted by whitejdmcb7lol i think the hydro tensioner can pose a problem after awhile
H22A wise I havent had any problems with it. Just dont over rev the motor constantly. Everything else is fine.
