    Few ????

Ok well I finnaly am getting my cb registered and well I towed it to MVD to get it inspected...

Ok well the roof weatherstripping is coming off and I wanted to know what its for? Could I just weld some metal in there, throw some bondo in it and get it painted like that? Or does it serve a purpose?

Also my battery keeps diying and im sure its not the altenator. My question is, if I were to put on the positive cable and then tutched the negqative cable to the negative terminal should it arc? Or create a spark?

Also a friend of mine is selling an 86 Honda VFR-750 for a grand and I was going to get it because well it would be nice to have and gas. Does anyone know if these are good bikes or not?

the weather strip thing is a rain channel I believe.
What makes you so sure its not your alternator that makes your batter go bad?

The run channel on the roof is a rain drain. You can weld it shut if you want but its hard to do right and tedious.

        The battery could be bad.

          How can I test it?

Put a volt meter on the battery alone. It should be around 12.5 volts. Do the same with the car running. You should be at 13.8 to 14.4 volts with the car running.

then your battery is good and the alternator is bad and not charging the system.

If the battery reads 14V while the car is running, then the alternator is working.

My altenator is working...I get 14 volts with the car on and even disconecting the battery when the car is on...The altenator is fine...

How can I check and see if the battery is holding the charge

Disconnect the battery for a couple days when you have a chance and see if it's charged after that. It will eliminate any power draining possibilities.
