    Tps Help!!!

    Hey guys,
I've been searching the board for about 30 minutes now and I can't seem to find the answer to my question.. would anyone know how to calibrate the TPS? I've found a couple of things but not enough to figure out how to do it myself. I would appreciate it if someone would help a sista out Thanks in advance!!

Testing - With the Key On, Engine Off hook up a voltmeter to the TPS. @ idle (closed throttle), voltage should be close to .5V and @ WOT (Wide Open Throttle) voltage should be 4.5V.

The best way to adjust the TPS voltage is @ idle (closed throttle). While Key On, Engine Off, hook up voltmeter between the yel/wht & grn/wht and observe reading. If it needs to be adjusted, loosen the TPS mounting and move the TPS until voltmeter reads close to .5V. The check engine light will let you know immediately whether you missed up or not.

i dunno if the volts are the same from an integra or not but thats how u adjust the tps i believe on all hondas

How is that possible when our TPS is rivited on? Only way I see doing that is cutting the rivits on it. I've been to that web site about the Integra way of doing it and it had a flat head on its TPS. Please give me a little insight on this because Im spending way too much money buying new ones over and over.
