what happens if your shifter cables are messed up?

He talking about auto or stick? I'm assuming stick, but technically it could be either.
Fizzbob answered the stick part, if it's in an automatic, you'll be stuck in a gear or it won't shift to right gear. We had the cables go in our auto & we put it in reverse & it went forward...jacked up.

thanks for the compliments i try Yes I was talkin about a 5-speed I get attention wherever I go. Im not sayin my car is all that but people know when you take care of your car everyday this may sound crazy but I brush out both passenger and driver side . One brush a day keeps most of the trash away less bull to clean up.Comment
