question about h22 swap CPS sensor

so i got a 98 h22a4 and have done all my wiring that is metioned in the swap sticky... but i still have the wires coming out of the timing cover that hook up to the crank postion sensors that are on the 97+ motors...do i just leave them unplugged? or do i need to wire it into a p13 ecu somehow....

qustion 2: the sensor ontop of the TB not the tps but i guess its a Map sensor? or secondariy intake sensor? the plugs got three wires that comes out of it but theres only one pin location for it on the ecu... are the other two grounds or something????

Please, Leave me some feeedback on my ride ^CLICK ^CLICK ^CLICK

are you planing on keeping the motor obd2 or obd1???
if your going obd1 just leave it unplugged and but yourself the obd1 distributor, or get the obd2-obd1 dizzy jumper harness from password jdm. and you should be alright

the sensor on top of the tb is the map sensor, some h22 have them on top, for me I just sourced a tb that didnt have the map sensor on top of it and just used the acord map sensor anyone want to correct me

the accords MAP sensor in that black vacuum box thats on the firewall. it has Vac. hoses comming out of it. I believe the hose on the upper far passsenger side is the map one. & one of the electrical plugs in front of the Vac box is the one for the CB7s map sensor. I just got that plug & spliced it to the H22s MAP sensor. then I removed the CB7s old one along with its hose. then I put electrical tape over the hole on the Vac box that the original MAP sensor hose came out through

        hope that helps

^^^ x2 ... umm somewhere there is the wiring for this... its simple just cut the plug off the accord and wire into the prelude one !!

as for the wires for the crank position sensor .. just leave them be since you are using your accord harness you won't have the plug for them. the p13 obd1 ecu will work just fine in your car without that hooked up.

edit=heres the CB7 MAP sensor to H22 MAP sensor DIY...
Have questions or info concerning engine swaps? Post here! This is the place to post any questions regarding engines that did not originally come in the CB7 (H22A, H23A, F22B1, etc...)

Haha you dont have to do anything if you're staying OBD1. When you pulled the engine out you never unplugged the Accord map. its in the black box on the pass. side fire wall. Drop in your H22 and dont worry about the map on the TB. Your Accord map is still plugged in and works fine with an OBD1 P13. (I had a 2000 H22a4 in my accord)
