    Rear Window

I have a DX so i have to crank my windows up and down. anyway, i was autoxing yesterday and i rolled down all 4 of my windows. and when i went to put them back up, the rear right window wouldn't go back up. it just sat there clicking as i turned the handle.

so as a temporary solution i just pulled the window up by hand. but here's the thing. the window will go down when i turn the handle but won't go up.

anyway, how hard is it to remove that door panel to check it out. how many screws etc. if anyone has any advice.... if not i'll check it out when i get time.

door panel is not hard. Its a few screws, in the handle, and the armrest part, then one more under where the handle was. You gotta push the handle forward then disconnect the metal rod. Then just slowly from the bottom, pull it away from the door to get the clips off, then at the top just slide it up. Make sure you disconnect the light at hte bottom, and im not sure about if you would need to take the crank window thing off first.

well, i got the door panel off. and the mechanism that is attached to the crank is shot. like when i turn the handle, there are two steel wires. one pulls the window up and the other pulls the window down. depending on which direction i turn, one wire gets pulled up while the other one slackens, and vice versa.

basically, i need to replace that part or atleast open it up and see if anything can be fixed. so does anyone know how to open that part up? i tried prying it open but i didn't want to break it.
