clutch only engaging when pedal almost out

So The clutch will only engage when the pedal is almost out completly. the slave cyllinder and the master cyllinder are only about 2-3 years old, the fluid is alright and it doesn't have abs. Dose anyone have any suggestions or ideas what this may be?

is that why the clutch won't engage untill the pedal is almost all the way out?

or you need to bleed it more, or your clutch is going out and if it slips a bit.

Well, it doesn't seem like its slipping,(THANK GOD) its just not engaging untill the pedal is all but an inch or two from being fully out. According to the Haynes manual it says the the pedal dis engagement height should be 3-3.5 inches.

Your clutch is worn out. It may not be slipping yet, but its at the end of it's life and the pressure plate is extended to its maximum, which is why it is not engaging like you expect. Replacement of the clutch will fix this problem.
