There should be two screws underneath the igniter body. Just remove those, and a little plate that the igniter attaches to will slide out of the distributor. Then unscrew the igniter from that plate, put the packet of grease that came with the new one in between the plate and the new igniter, and tighten the new igniter down. Slide the plate back into the distributor and put the two screws back in and reattach all the wires.

Here are some pictures to help out:

Remove the two screws holding the igniter assembly to the distributor (I have already removed one in this picture):

Here is the igniter assembly. The igniter itself is on top, and the holding plate is on the bottom:

Remove these two screws to remove the igniter from the plate:

From there, simply spread the grease that should have come with your new igniter on the metal plate, and attach the new igniter to the plate. Then install the plate assembly in the distributor, and attach the wires.

Reference the first picture incase you forget where the wires go.

you need a manicure haha j.k

            so that's the ignitor..

that can ALSO be a problem with my car..

although i think it's the Main Relay..

I'll have to keep this in Mind!

how much did you pay for it?

It was $83 from AutoZone. And yeah, I need to clip my finger nails! LOL. For some reason, the finger nails on my left hand grow like 10x faster than the ones on my right hand...
