New routing for my vacum lines!

So i removed the stock intake on my ex coupe, but i found that the little black box had a line attached to the diaphram on the stock intake pipe, so i connected that line to direct vacum, but now the dual runners stay open all the time, Do i need to find a new diaphram and connect that vacum line? thanks i can def get picturs later.

the valves are open all the time because u do not have vacume on them. all u have to do is connect the vacume line from the diaphram to the vacume on tha back of the intake mani and your valves will open around 4k.
