are F22A6 injectors the same as F22A1 injectors?

I accidentally broke one of my injectors while removing my intake manifold so I was wondering would some F22A1 injectors fit fine w/ no problems? I found them at the JY w/ low mileage, would these work in my A6 engine? It looks the same, but i'm not positive.

Just researched parts on Majestic Honda online and all F22ax motors have same injector part #'s. That includes A1, A4 and A6 motors.

yeah they're the same, I used my 90 lx's a1's in my 93 ex's a6 no problems, and they're the same part number, so there ya go

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

Check internal resistance on the junkyard units, in case they are bad. Also, if you have trouble getting any injectors, I have a full set good used condition, good internal resistance numbers. Hit me via PM if needed.

okay i'll check them right now, hopefully they're good, the car looked like it was taken care of and just had a bad rear end from the behind.

Okay this is really weird, but what is the resistance supposed to be for the injectors? b/c the Haynes manual says 1.5-2.5 ohms, but EVERY single one of my injectors registered at 2.8 ohms. And that includes the ones that were working on my car when I took them off.

So i'm thinking the JY ones are fine, if the ones on my car have the same reading?

or is that 1.5-2.5 ohm reading when the injectors are HOT?

              Helms says 1.5-2.5 ohms.

Strange because the spare OEM ones I have are within the Helm's spec. I believe they were like 2.2 or 2.3 readings. I personally would get some within this range. However, I would check the injectors again with ANOTHER multimeter & different probe wires to double check.

hmm I even tried my best to find a low mileage engine, and this car only had 140K on the clock compared to my 173k on mine

sometimes when the multimeters battery is slow u get a funky signal. or the leads have some resistance.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

man, I even went to Autozone to use theirs since I had to buy some carb cleaner for the intake manifold, and it read the same 2.8 ohms for every injector. If it gets me better gas mileage by getting ones in the required resistance spec. then i'd probably get those instead. But yeah, don't buy them new, they cost 80 bucks a pop and that's Autozone ones....so imagine how much Honda OEM ones are. damn.

He don't need to spend on new OEM. I got good OEM F22 units with good resistance numbers at home. I have atleast 2 sets.

there's really no way I can service these injectors right? other than by buying new Orings so they don't leak when I put them back in?

You can send it to cruzinperformance.com for service. You will spend about $70 for the service but it's worth it...
