have a mech. put some dye in and then drive around for like a day or two w/ the A/C going....then go back and he'll put an ultraviolet light to it and wherever its leaking, it'll flouress under that light with special glasses.Originally posted by alb_accord View Post

I just bought a little can of leak detector, you give a 'shot', a 3-second burst into the system and drive for about 5-10 minutes with the ac on, then use a uv light (you can also buy them at the auto store) to look at the lines, connections. You may need to take off the glovebox to look at the evaporator
