I say swap it to an H23 not as much fun as an H22 buts its an upgrade, but if you want a lot of headaches and power go turbo.

a quote? with parts a full blueprint and balanced motor would be 4000 bucks.

in jsut parts, my lower end is already 1150.

well just a cyl. head rebuild cost me about 500 and this was doing it myself.

300 for a machine shop to rebuild the head w/ new seals and valve job, pressure test and resurface. And then the rest for gaskets and stuff (HG - 75, IM gasket- 57 bisimoto one, EX gasket - 15, coolant-10, o ring seals-10)

idk, but i think new piston rings...haha i have no idea. But another shop quoted me like 900 for a complete rebuild but using aftermarket parts though, so idk about that one. I would use all Honda stuff just for reliability

yeah i used the same springs, rocker arms, retainers all that stuff. I had some slight wear on the cam but nothing that would affect the performance of it, th lobes were still in spec. after 174K miles.

All they did was put new valve stem seals in, since, I figured it'd be good to do it now rather then having to take it all apart again in case they fail.
