Tranny Problems

My bro just got a a CB and it has a crack on the bottom of the tranny causing the oil to leak out. we didnt notice this till after he got it. so when it all leaked out the car oif coruse did not move so he gave me a call o come check it out and I got some tranny fluid and I thought this would make the car move but it didn't. I put the car in drive and it wont move. When i put the car in Park in makes a loud noise as if i was pushin the car in Neutrul and putting it back in Park while still moving(did that before lol) does it mea the tranny is dead? The S lights comes on after a whole as well. 90 CB7 LX
