ok ever since i bought my car 2 years ago it would grind second when i take first gear. Now i dont even have to floor it, just normal driving it will grind. And 5th grinds now too. could this be the syncros going out or what?

depends, if you were thinking of swapping a h22 or something and have the money i would swap. if your car has low millage and you want to keep a f22 engine, you could rebuild it.
or just buy a new tranny.

empty the tranny fluid. see if you have any bronze colored shavings in it.

if you know how to rebuild trannies, it should be cake for you, but it may be easier and more cost effective to just buy a used one and swap it in. thats what i did.Comment
