Car bogging when hitting the gas...help

I have a 92 CB7 with aJDM H22a swap. I've been running a chipped P28 ECU that isnt tuned for about a month and a 1/2 now. My car is bogging when I hit the gas and then it'll run ok. Like one second it'll bog real bad and I'll gas it hard for a few seconds then it'll stop. Then I switch gears and go again and it does the same thing. I'm also getting a bad smell of gas. This is the first time I've had this problem and it just started yesterday. Is it bc I'm running too rich? I'm thinking about buying a P13 until I can get this ECU tuned properly. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Ok so I just put a CF hood on my car and we just had a couple pretty decent rain storms. My hood is a VIS extreme GT with the vents right over the motor. I pulled my plugs wires out and they're wet at the bottom and I think water got down into there bc of the hood. Could this be my problem?

it's a good place to start... secondary ignition should never be wet...

I think it is. didn't happend to my cb but to my previuos bike.
it was 4 cylinder with plugs that you can reach with out disassembling any thing. It got wet realy bad after big storm. So I jump on it right after the storm and ride to work, after two miles at stop lite it start to idle rought. It seem like I had to rev it up 3k-4k rpm to take it off. Then at work I look at the plugs and there was lots of water there. So I took screwdriver and clean rag
and cleaned/dryed all 4 of them. That had fix my problem.

i don't think rain cause it. i used to ride around town without my hood on at all. some days it get hot in va so i got bored and took it off. later on one of those nights i got caught in town in a massive thunderstorm without a hood on. the only problem i had is the cold air intake filter got wet and started sputtering so i would run it harder to dry it faster. i didn't have any electrical problem except for the air filter turning into a sponge. but i had a a6 motor which has covers on the tops of the plug wires. in ur case you have a tray or a gutter on the top of your engine. first get another hood or make somekinda protection. if it was wet your problem should have been fixed if it was dried out. also check fuel filter mabey cloged, and if u got the p13 drop it in, if it runs better get ur p28 looked at

          the rebuild!
