    Disconnected vacuum hose?

I have a question ok 2day i was taking out my stock intake and noticed that there was this tube just dangling there upon further inspection i noticed that it went to the emissions control unit, so i connect it back. I go upstairs and find out that it was my vacuum hose. Now i just noticed this 2day and have taken my car to get inspected 3x's so far failing all of them with high co%, could this be the culprit? anyways next week i will install a new o2 sensor if it wasnt the tube hopefully that will do the trick

Carbon monoxide is formed when a hydrocarbon (like gasoline) tries to burn (oxide) in an oxygen poor environment. Only part of the energy in the hydrocarbons is released for useful power, the rest are not released energy because of poor combustion.

Excessive CO is created when and only when fuel is burned without sufficient air (O2) to allow for complete combustion, also known as oxygen starvation.

Its possible but how high was your co level?

        These will reduce the CO:

        Clean air filter
With that high of a number my guess is o2 sensor is bad
Run a fuel system cleaner (bg44K) it should allow better combustion
Vacuum leaks (sounds like yours is fixed)

Yea when i took the test i reinstalled my stock intake and reset my ecu 2days b4 the test.

Yea next week i will be ordering my o2 sensor and i'll prob try to get the bg44k off ebay since it seems to be the cheapest. My dads friend at honda reccommended it to me but didnt know where they sold it thanks again though

Napa sells it but checker/krager and autozone don't (at least around here ). I searched online and it looks like only 1-2 places sell it:

            Here is the link:

            To all their fluids: http://www.autobahnpower.com/product...ves%2C%20BG44K

GL and let me know if that helped
