    Idle question

Well I turned my H22a on for the first time yesterday, when I did the swap I replaced a few of the motor mounts and used the energy suspension front torque mount insert. I also used the ES rear motor mount insert, this insert turned out to be an extremely hard polyurethane.

My question is what is a "reasonable and safe" rmp to have my car idol at.

I know 800-900 is about right when it is stock, but I would prefer to place it at about 1200 to reduce vibration and increase drive ability.

Just wondering if you guys thought that would be too high, I have it set at 1000 now and it is a little rough with the brakes on and sitting there

    Thanks

try lowering it to around 700 and see if that helps.....my car has the es mount insert and it idles rougher when the rpms are higher

      I will try that

Do you have both the front torque and the rear motor?

      Just curious

      Thanks.
