well for the 3rd time now i have a cracked a/c hose... lowside that you fill on. i always cracks right at the joint where it bolts down, on the side next to the alternator. i have no idea whats causing it. at first i thought it was gettin too close to the header and it was getting hit but thats not possible. i have a solid front torque mount so the header doesnt move at all. since i have a dc header and no stock heat shield... could the constant vibration of driving and the excessive heat cause it to crack??
the first two hoses i got were from a website... probably not oem, but the third i used was taken out of another accord. it actually lasted the longest, but it still cracked... wtf????
the weather is getting better now, so i wont NEED a/c probably until next summer. i just want to know how to fix it.
