walbro pump install?

ok, I know at work that we can replace SOME pumps by just folding or removing the bench seat, and getting att he pump from above..trucks, we gotta pull the tank, even some cars are like this! So, do I need to pull the tank, or can I just go in through the backseat, or pull the bench out?
