    Help No Spark!!!

Ok so last night, i was coming home from work, and my car started misfiring, it was only runnin off 3 cylinders, found out cap and rotor were bad..changed the cap and rotor, and the wires and plugs... took it out and ran the motor both hard and just driving, and it ran fine. This morning on the way to my classes at the college i got down the street and about 3rd gear it just shut off on me, so i dumped the clutch and still no start. I checked and i was getting no spark, i replaced the ignition module, and the ignition coil and still no spark... Also ecu fuse was out...Im outta ideas and i need my cb bad!!! Any ideas how to get me some spark????

I think a valid way to check for fuel is to losen the banjo bolt on the fuel rail when you turn the motor over. How could the ignition switch cause no spark?

          ???

          Main relay for spark

those two are related but if hes not getting any spark...thats the WRONG place to look. The main relay is the first place to look if you're getting NO FUEL.

no fuel + no whirling sound from fuel pump = * first place to look would be the MFR. ( resolder )

          lol

ignition switch: if you turn over the car..and its acting like it wants to start...like it wants to catch...and when it does..and you turn it back to run and it dies...more than likely...its your ignition switch. ( been there..done it...and I know that sympton all too well )

if you turn to key to III and it turns over and catches..then put it BETWEEN II and III...and it runs........then put it to II..and it dies...your ignition switch is bad...replace it.

DO NOT HOLD DOWN THE KEY TO III...YOU WILL FUCK UP THE GEARS ON THE STARTER. = Common sense.

yes...take the cap off...inspect the points. .....take a look at the rotor..

are both of them corroded and/or burnt??? if so...( time to replace )...and yeah..theres a ground wire on the thermostart housing that likes to fuck with us CB7tuners ...it likes to lose its contact and cause NO SPARK.

resurface the connecting points..( sand it down )..then reconnect it.

^ take the negative bat cable off before you do that.

so you replaced the ignitor and coil and still no spark? Was that a used or new ignitor? Pop another ecu fuse in and see if it blows again. If it does obviously there is a short somewhere, if not your ecu might be crapping on you. Check the main ground , on most unmolested cb7s its on the back of the t stat housing. Also pull your igniton switch and check for continuity.
