I have a 91 lx im about to put an 91 ex computer in it will there be a difference in perforemance what do u guy think i should do

no difference at all t hey both use the same thing, its a pt3 ecu.
if u want a difference in your lx put a ex header or a aftermarket header.What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I thought I read on this board that The EX ecu has a more aggressive fuel and spark map and thats how they were able to get 140 hp out of it. (in addition to the header and manifold.)Originally posted by 91ACCORDSIR

the ex and the lx 91 are exactly the same.
ex=f22a4
lx/dx=f22a1
both controlled by the pt3 ecu, around 130 hp
now the 91 se or 92 93 ex accords has the f22a6 which runs off of the pt6 ecu...the 140 hp ecu with better fuel mapping etc...i run it right now on my 91 ex with my manifold swap
so really there are 2 ecus for our car, pt3 and pt6...What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
