    head light problem.

So out of the blue my driver side driving light went out, the high beam still works its just the driver light.. the bulb and the fuse under the hood are not the problem.. Is there a ground or a fuse that I'm over looking?

    Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's just the bulb that is the problem. Did you already try putting a new bulb in?

if not, be aware that it's a bimodal bulb that has both a driving light setting and a high beam setting. The driving light could go out I believe even leaving the high beam intact. Particularly because you use the driving light more often than the high beam. Now that I think of it, that's happened to me before (I think--memory is fuzzy on it). I've definitely had a situation where only my high beam would work not my driving light, and I've never done anything with my lights ever but replace the bulb.

Just put a new bulb in and that should fix it.

Worst case scenario, you have a spare bulb for the next time you need one.

    good luck

Perhaps the light came unplugged from the socket, slightly?

I know for a fact its not the bulb a) the bulb isnt burnt out b) I put in a new bulb. its the driving light bulb as a hole that is not working so even when I put the high beams on the high beam light bulb goes on but not the drivers side driving light bulb.

The lights don't ground to the body anywhere do they?

            Thanks.

every electrical circuit in your car has a ground somewhere. whether directly grounded, or through multiple connections.

start chasing wires, sounds like a bad ground/connection since a new bulb didnt work.
