2 little problems that need to be fixxed

    1. my gas door doesn't open by pulling the little gas lever. i replaced the black thing that is controlled by the cable allready (my old one was broken) and still doesn't open. my uncle says there should be some sort of spring to bounce it out but we couldn't find anything i gotta stick my key everytime i pump gas! and its tearing up my paint.

    2. my dizzy is kinda like leaking oil from the lower front screw. it's just accumulates right under the screw and leaks down into the tranny and to the floor. i put a little of that gasket glue or w/e on the screw and screwed it in. but like 2 or 3 weeks after it after leaking again. so can i use some sort of Teflon tape? idk something. I've replaced the screws, just in case i was stripped but it's not. and when i remove the screw it DOES have some oil on it which probably is where it leaks from

this is the place it's leaking just in case anyone doesn't know

and it's not the valve cover! vc gasket just replaced cuz it did leak a bit and put rtv sealant on it on that one corner where most vc's leak from.

    Anyone shed some light ?

you replaced the inside seals? theres 3 i believe. No dealership sells it. You probably need a new diz.

look in your gas door. theres a square shaped metal thing. that enables the door to open. Jy=free!! they dont sell it anywhere.

              Get another gas door.

Yours probably has a broken spring/clip like mine had.

you dont need a new gas door dude, just the spring/clip. you can take it from anyones accord, or jy. Theres no other alternative either. i tried a paperclip, wire, spring, all failed.

I bought my car with a rebult A4. and about 5K ;ater it started to go through oil. I had no idea why. Then i found the leak after it made itself visible. Right under the Dist. I wanted to fix it, but i heard the same as above....Almost imposible to fix. Soooo, i have a VERy healthy engine that goes through about a Qt. every 6 weeks.

Also, My gas door Didnt have the squareish spring on it, And it didnt open the 1st time i got gas. I had a parts car at the time, so it was all good.
