    WTF??? Confusion

I bought a f22 tranny form a 92-96 prelude. It has the 2 tapable hols like the h23 tranny. Im guessing its the same as the 5th gen accord tranys.

From what I have understood, once you tap those 2 hols you can bolt up the prelude mount. But I was looking at it and the prelude mount will not bold up if I move the studs?

But the prelude tranny mount does match the original studs on the tranny

I am converting from an auto to manual...Please help I am really confused.

    You answer your own question.

Let me make this simple as possible.

You bought a prelude tranny, and you are matching it up with a prelude mount. It will match up with the prelude mount because its from a prelude.

The prelude and 5th gen accords share the same stud locations.

When you tap the other 2 holes you will be able to use the stock accord tranny mount.

So when do people use the prelude mount for tranny swaps?

Will the prelude mount bolt up to my auto chasis in its stock location?

You use the prelude mount when you are converting to 5 speed which you are.

Since you have a prelude f22a tranny you dont need to move the studs over like the accord tranny.

Damb so all I have to do is use the prelude mount on my 5spd prelude tranny. To bolt it in to my auto chasis?

Easyer than I thought, thank you...
