    hood cowl leak

I have a pretty rediculous leak on my hood cowl somewhere, i'm thinking that it's on the passenger side, since that side of the floor is hella wet when it rains. I noticed that one of the upper pins is missing, the one on the end is broken on one side and doesnt seat right and at least a few of the others look the same. Aside from getting new pins for the broken ones, would it be a good idea to silicone behind the little rubber seal to seal it up? Is there anything i should look for when i do it?

It is more than likely due to the front windshield not having a good seal or you have a hole from corrosion on your front firewall somewhere. Sometimes these holes are not visible and you have to remove the entire front dashboard to even see them, sucks. Just letting you know from experience, as I just fixed all my leaks on my cb7.

hmm, the windshield did get replaced in the spring, maybe i should just call them and make them take care of it, i think it has a 1 year warrenty or something. I dont think it ever leaked prior to the new windshield, although i didnt drive it much before then and it was parked right next to a building so it didnt get as much rain then either.
