sputtering issue

hey fellas whats up??

ok here's my issue.... the other day i washed my little girl and made her all shiny and pretty and i even degreased the motor..... yes i covered what i needed to but since then she seems like she loses power for a second ( by power i mean performance not electrical) and i push in the clutch, give it some gas and pop the clutch and she rides normally then she starts to spit n sputter..... can anyone please help me??? i've checked all my vacuum lines and they are where they need to be and there are no wholes or leaks. my intake is on correctly and i dont have an oil leak anywhere..... someone help me solve this issue please... all input is helpful thanx cb7 members

When you cleaned the motor, maybe you somehow got some degreaser in the dizzy? Did you open that up and check it?

x2 open up the cap and make sure there is no water in there.

dizzy??? do you mean the distributor cap?? i had adjusted it back a little do you think that could've caused a leak??

i'd have to check all that tomorrow in the morn.........i hope its something not too serious that i can just pull off and clean

ok i found out what it was...........since the gas prices are going down the gas companies are using more ethanol.... good: it cleans out the fuel lines and gunk in the fuel pump and tank.... bad: all that gunk builds up in the FI's...... so i have to get fuel injector cleaner and it should solve my issue pefully........we'll c

After washing thing under the hood, on more than one occasion, My car has stumbled and acted funny, after it dried up, it returned to normal though.
