Need Help with throttle rotor

Okay im installing my new throttle body and i notice that the throttle rotor on it only has a slot for the accelerator cable. What does the other cable do?

Took my car for a test drive and when i got W.O.T it goes to like 4 grand then down then back up. Im getting a CEL but no code. Could this be because i didnt use a gasket? I saw that my old throttle body barely had any gasket left so i thought it would be ok but i guess not.

Yeah i was lazy. I went to Advance Auto this morining to get a gasket but they didnt have it and i didnt feel like drving 20 min to the honda dealership. Ill put a new gasket on and see what happens. How would i know if the tps sensor is bad. What does the tps sensor do?

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor

Senses the position of your throttle.

Just looked in my manual and see that the other cable is the transaxle throttle valve cable. So now i need to replace the throttle rotor with the one from my old throttle body.
