    Parking lights not working!

Ok, so I was inspecting my fog harness (relay is bad) and I realized my foglight switch was stuck "on". So I pulled it out of the dash, disconnected it, and when I did, my dash lights, and all parking lights went out. My headlights work, turn signals work, brake lights work, flashers work, but they do not stay on when I'm driving. In other words, if you saw me driving at night you would ONLY see my headlights (until I hit the brakes or turn signals).

I've checked my daylight fuse, brake light fuse, all connections, disconnected my fog harness altogether - no help. In fact, I pulled every fuse on my panel under the dash and they're all fine. I made sure they weren't loose, also. I pulled the dash switch/dimmer out and made sure nothing was loose, no luck. Is there a relay burnt out somewhere? The bulbs are fine, because they work (even when I set my car alarm all the lights will kick on then back off).

    So.... WTF?

I had to replace my running lights module in order to get my tail lights working again...get it off a junk yard car...I paid wayyy to much @ the dealer. Its a black box under the dash above the driver side fuse box.

I had the same problem with my car a while ago, I just opened that box and resoldered the relays inside it. I've heard that the factory soldering is not too good. But it's been working perfect after that.

I can't get the box out.. lol

I don't want to pry to hard, it won't slide in any direction - I have the surrounding harness connectors disconnected. Is there a screw holding the box in or something?

Fuck! Ass! Penis! Doo-doo! I've been working on computers all evening, and get to come home and work on the car. Did I mention I have to be to work early in the AM?

Ok. So.. I'm in the US. Apparently, NO US models had the DRL module. Yet... I have a large rectangular box right above my fuse panel, I don't know wtf it is. I'm wondering if it's the turn signal relay or something. I just went out there and hit my blinkers and I can feel a slight tick as the blinkers click.

Ugh. I need to fix this because I'm driving my car for work and I can't drive it around with no lights on.

Yea, thats the box I'm talking about. Not sure know if they serve the same purpuse in US as in Europe, but I remember it was very hard to remove it. Its not held by any screws, its just snapped onto the fusepanel.

After researching, mine is most likely not a DRL module. Thinking it's either cruise module, or maybe turn signal relay? I don't know. Anybody have a diagram of what each relay is for above the fuse panel? They're not listed on the fuse panel cover. I checked the Haynes manual, nothing helpful. Here's what I'm looking at, cant get a pic as it's too dark and way too many wires there.

OK I figured it out. Turns out there was a 10amp fuse in the 15amp "small lights" socket. I took the blown 10amp fuse out put the 15 from the condensor fan socket and everything lights up again. Fucking Hell.

Since I'm posting over and over on my own thread.. I guess this was a blessing in disguise. After cleaning up underneath the dash I saw the rod connected to the clutch pedal lever was shiny. Then I saw grease had leaked down the firewall. Guess my master cylinder is leaking. Woot that would explain the occasional sticky clutch.

Lol, I had the same problem as you with the master cylinder too, and now it's my fathers cb3 that has the same problem. I fixed it with a master cylinder repair kit since a new cylinder is very expensive over here, but you're maybe better off getting a new one. Good luck
