so my ignition is fuck and i dont know whats up...i heard it was the ignition switch but i dont know how to fix it.ive been wanting to do a push button start and someone told me the wires coming off the back side of the ignition i could hook a toggle swith to power it on and then hook a push button start on. so i will not have to use a key other than to keep my wheel from locking.i was wondering if any of u have ever done this?which wires do i need to tap into?they said i could hook a voltimeter to it to see which wires are constantly hot...
the problemwith my ignition is that when i turn my key forward it cranks up but when i take my hand off the key it goes back and shuts my car off. so i rigged some vice grips up on there to keep weight on the key to keep it running...its been working but it looks like i stole the car so im tired of it...has anyone ever had a problem like this?ive replaced the tumbler but it still does it...anyhelp with this will be greatly appreciated...
