    Vacuum ?'s

Alright well im swapping my motor for an F22B DOHC soon but im trying to figure out all these vacuum lines before i go about the swap.. I currently have an A6 in my car but the black box under the intake mani on the F22B is broken so im goin to remove it completely.. Im going to post pictures so people can help point me in the right direction..
One of the things is this

this one doesn't have as many vacuum lines coming off of it to go to the black box on the firewall as my stock one does here (Red lines)

i know the very top one (Closest to the firewall with the blue line) just drops down under and plugs into the intake.. also another note for these pics is the fact that my A6 has the two things (circled in yellow) that the F22B doesn't have what are they? ..

Alright now here is the black box..

as far as the plug goes that will just be there for the delete but now the blue one is the one with the nipple completely broken off and it goes to the back of the manifold the red one is the intermediate one i guess would just be gone after i take the box out right?. Now the yellow line is the one that comes from the disk for the IAB's so that one should just plug into the not used nipple on the drivers side of the intake mani right (below circled in yellow)

now i think its the last one i cant remember but one of the vacuum lines coming off of the intake mani from the top has a t in it with a longer vacuum line (yellow and long is red) what is this one for??

also you can see the broken nipples on the black box..
    Thanks in advance guys

1, all vacuum ports are created equal on the intake manifold. There are enough ports for everything, you just have to stretch the hoses/get new hoses to reach them.

2, the IACV (one of the yellow things you circled in picture 2 that is on the front of the IM) is moved underneath the throttle body on the F22B (same place as on an H22A, also).

3, I thought that you kept the air boost valve (the other thing circled in yellow in pic 2), but if there is no place for it then you don't. I'll have to look at my sister's again to see (we put an F22B in her 95 Accord).

      4. You should have a black vacuum tank on your A6, so when you swap just swap the tanks. They are the same (in size and function). You definitely want to keep the tank, it is a noticeable difference.

I think I got everything, feel free to ask more questions, I'll try to help you out.

sweet thanks man, the vacuum tank i take it is the black box on the bottom of the intake manifold correct? so ill just swap it over then? ok as for the air boost valve (The one circled on the right side) there is no spot for it so i guess it doesn't keep it. thanks again man ill keep you posted. as far as the vacuum line that T's where does that one go exactly?

Yeah, the black box is a vacuum tank.

Like I said about the vacuum lines earlier, all vacuum is created equal on the intake manifold. It doesn't really matter where things are plugged in, as long as everything that needs vacuum has vacuum. You should just strip all of the lines off of the F22B, and go with whatever is plugged in on your car. Really, the swap is very similar to the H22A swap.

Still haven't checked on the Air boost valve

Have you checked out the F22B Swap FAQ?
