tailight problem

alright guys im not sure if this was the correct place to post this thread but my buddy has a 93 and two days ago his fuse blew for his tailights, he replaced the fuse and then the 3rd brake light wouldn't come on. so he replaced the bulb and still nothing, what could be the problem guys? btw its a 93 LX

Sounds like a problem associated with the little black/white/brown box in the tail lights. Had the same problem, that was the culprit

oh really? that would cause the third brake light to quit working?? i didnt think it was connected but yet i haven't actually tracked the wires down.
