    harness question

alright guys i have a quick question. are the 92 EX and LX engine harness's the same? whats the difference? i have an EX and im swapping my motor with the F22B DOHC and i was thinking it would be easier to get a harness and plug it all up before i pull my old motor however i am using my stock ECU with it for now and the harness i found is off of a 92 LX, let me know if it would work. I am trying to stay away from running wires, thanks guys

oh from the front to the back right?? so what all would i need to do for the IAB box under the mani? or would i even need to use it?? im doing the A6 to F22B DOHC swap. i believe i read i didn't need to use it, i could just plug the IAB's to a vacuum port on the intake mani and it would work on vacuum instead. so if i am correct i would be able to use the LX harness right?? i would just need to move the location of the o2 sensor around to the back right??

ok so i can use it correct? if i dont have to use the IAB box then i wont even have to worry about that plug to begin with right? i know it wont work like it does right now btu that without the box and plugged into the plenum it will work at WOT when high vacuum is present am i correct??

You can use the LX harness.

I have a 91 LX, I used MY harness and just plugged the butterflies to vacuum off the plenum. My F22B DOHC's "Black box" was craked and the nipple was broken off it. That is why I hooked my IAB's to vacuum.

Hope that helped clear up things.

No, the harness from a manual and auto are different. It would have been better to have said that in your orig. post. There are like 3 plugs that are on the auto harness that aren't on the manual.

Only reason I know is because I have like 3 extra plugs on my harness that aren't used from when I changed to a manual.
