man its not hard to get to the cluster, just take off the instrument panel, which i would say there are about 15 or so screws holding it in, then there are just 4 screws holding the cluster in, and then you have to remove like three green connectors, then when it comes out you will see where the rest of the screws, i doubt this is helpful, but it will give you a little insight. ive got an extra haynes manual laying around if you want to buy it, i would sell it for like 10 bucks shipped, or give me an offer. the haynes manual is so damn helpful.
hey man good luck with it, you will find it is not hard at all, just a lot of crappy screws to deal with, i think i lost more than 2/3 of the screws that were in there, but i always lose crap when i work on my car. but you can do it. see ya, chris
yeah removing the cluster is not hard at all just time consuming. have some extra screws because u will loose some. but when u do finally have the cluster removed make sure u be very gentle with the guages because they are easily broken. but u shouldnt have to take off the front plastic clear piece, just remove cluster and plug in new bulbs. theres 3 wire harnesses attached to the cluster one on the bottom left side, one on the bottom right side, and one on the top middle. be careful not to cut any wires or your in trouble. good luck and just take your time.
Well I guess I must of prayed to the car gods or something because I noticed last night that the light came back on. Must of been a loose connection I suppose.
Anyways, I'm happy for now!
