    gas lid won't open

    my gas lid won't open....pull the latch on the inside and nothing.
    what could be the problem?....this an easy fix?

    the little clip probally fell off. yeah its a easy fix if you can find it.
    have some one pull it or put something under it to hold it up, while
    you use a screwdrive or something long to open it
    FS: DSM turbo parts,OEM parts, and more.....

      well i have this problem sometimes... all i gotta do is sit and pull up and down on it a couple times and it usually pops open...(dont know if uve tried that but its worth a try)

        yea, i'll try fliping it back and forth a bit and see what happens...if that doesn't work i'll have to open it up i guess....just hope the cable didn't snap,it would be a pain in ass to pull shit apart to get in there.

          Happened to me once, and I used a flat head screwdriver to open it, the piece of metal that clips in was bent, it was an easy fix, good luck

            i got this prob to.throw a way the clips and change to spring.

              While your doing this, its also a good idea to replace this:
              74422-SM4-000 CUSHION, FUEL FILLER LID $1.12

              Two are needed and help cushion the lid to the body (so its not metal on metal). They also help keep the door aligned when closed.
