    shifting problem

The problem started after my H22 swap was completed(done by somebody else). The slave cylinder would only move the release fork maybe 1/2 inch the most. I have bled and bled the system with the same results. The clutch master cylinder builds pressure and does not drop down to the floor. I don't see any leaks and I am not losing fluids or pressure. But somehow I am not able to disengage the clutch to go into gear. I can shift fine when the car is not running. But when the car is running and I step on the clutch pedal I can hear what sounds like the throw-out bearing not being pushed in all the way. I have not removed the tranny yet to look at the clutch and the release fork. I will try to do that today. Can anybody give me some advice on what this could be?

****I forgot to mention....the tranny worked fine before the swap and the clutch I was told was fairly new(questionable)

Have someone sit in the car and press the clutch, check to see if tranny bolts are tight. A friend of mine had a half assed swap done and the bolts were left loose, causing a clearance between the engine and trans, and diffuclty engaging gears.
