My 93 EX has a mind of it's own sometimes. The little diagram on the dash that shows you when a door is open, also a brake light thng too. It will just randomly flash on and off, stay on, be on but dim, and then the brake switch or light stays on just about constant. Heres what gets me though is when the car is stopped and you open a door it works fine, except the other day it said the trunck was open. Any ideas on what is happening and how can I fix this?

I have the same problem. Very random. All lights in that diagram turn on (brake light, trunk, doors). -
Bump, anybody have any ideas on what causes this. I know I can't be the only one that this is happening/happened to.

If the door relay goes bad, the lights will not light up on the dash, nor will your dome light turn on if set to door.Originally posted by ncoutlaw View PostComment

Its a bad integrated control unit. Thats the little box attached to the under-dash fuse box. Easy fix.00 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 4X4
