    tranny problems

this is a tranny problem its an automatic 90 accord ex now when i go and slow down to stop on a stop sign i can feel when the first gear kicks in. when it does that the u can feel it. but this is not the problem
my car starts at 1st gear and then goes to 3rd gear. the "s" light blinks but the thing is that when i shut the car down and restart it the S light don't blink. i tryed to see if i can get a code but nothing comes on. so i can't get a code from it.
now this is the same problem i had 1 year ago with my old tranny. then then i could see some black things in the tranny oil. then my tranny went out.

but the thing is that with this transmision eventhough i am having the same symtoms as the old tranny,,,,, the oil in this one is good. its all read. it don't look or smell burn. and the car runs strong.
might this be a tcm problem or a cable shifter problem can this two things make the auto tranny go bad with the passing of the time.???????

Make sure all your grounds are good and clean. I had a 91 Hyundai Scoupe that I put about 4 tranies in it before I noticed one little fucking ground that I thought was of no importance, replaced that and the tranny never gave me any problems. So after 2400 dollars worth of trannies, a little ground wire that cost me nothing fixed it. Man was I pissed when I found that out!

yeah i have hear that they go bad. but the thing is that the car drives. and when i get the code all igot to do is shut down the car and start it again. and i won't have the code anymore.
if the tcm was bad won't it gona throw a code all the time???

that happened to me once since i got a new tranny, what i did basically was drive around on it for a little, and it didn't fix still.. so i disconnected my battery and pulled the battery fuse, put them back in and my car was fine.

did that and it still does it. i checked the codes and it gives a very fast blink 6 short blinks. so either is a code 1 and a code 6 or is a code 7.
does anyone know what this codes are.
by the way my car starts on second gear. lol i think is a shift control selenoids or a bad shifter or bad tcm

most likely the shift solenoids bro... mine did the same thing... could also be the wiring for the solenoids double check the plug/harness for the solenoids....

the plugs look ok. how did u check that is the selenoids.
because i thought we needed a ecu test harnes. something that i don't have.
and the thing is that when the codes come i turn off the car and turn it back on and there is no more code.
this is the second time its happenig to my car. with two different tranny and selenoids. except the selenoids near the shifter console.

so i am leaning towords it or the wires that go to the selenoids in the front of the tranny.
if anyone has had this problem before please help me.
