    Innovative Engine Mounts

I have a 92 4 door EX 5-speed. I was wondering if anyone has used the H22 CB7 Innovative engine mounts with their F22 motors?

All of my engine mounts are shot (especially the rear) and I was wanting to upgrade while I still have tax money. I think i would have to get a LX/DX 5-speed rear engine bracket to make it work, but I am not sure.

I would imagine so, I know that the ESP r. mount requires the DX/LX 5-spd bracket.

Yeah you can use it for f22 as long as it's 92-96.

Ok, but do I need the LX/DX rear bracket? I have seen the ESP mounts (which require the LX/DX rear bracket), but I like how you can choose the stiffness of the polyurethane in the Innovative mounts.

I too am in the market for motor mounts. I have only been able to find the Innovative and the ESP.

I have had great success with the ESP traction. As a result I am considering their motor mounts also.

Any kind of vibration problems or anything? Did you have to get the LX/DX rear mount bracket?

I just made an auto to manual with H22 swap into my SE and I used Innovative mounts for the rear one and tranny and I can assure you that it vibrates a lot I would reccomand not to use the Innovative one for the rear mount...

They do make a kit that is specified for the 90-93 with an h22

Why do you not recommend the rear mount from innovative? Do you think that because your only running two of the mounts and not the third that this then may be the reason for your vibration.

vibration kinda comes with the territory when using solid urethane mounts but not using all of them is a bad idea and is going to increase the magnitude of the vibrations that are allready there.

Well I ordered the ESP mounts today!! They won me over with their kick ass customer service! Every time I would e-mail them no more than two hours later I got a reply. And they seem to know their stuff. I will update you guys when they come in and let you know what I think.

Stiffer mounts make for more vibration at idle.

I have innovaticve mounts with my H. I cant say anything bad about them outside of a little more vibration, but if your upgrading mounts thats gonna happen regardless. Great price too $270

Does anyone know the differences there would be using their H mounts on a F motor other than having to redrill the trans to match the H trans bolt pattern?

If you have an 5-speed EX you I think you need the LX/DX rear engine mount bracket. The ESP mounts require the LX/DX rear bracket, I'm pretty sure innovative mounts will need it as well, but I never found out 100% positive. No one seems to know for sure. That was one of the reasons I went with the ESP mounts.
