Help! My Car Wont Rev Past 5000 Rpm...

WUTS UP YALL IM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY MY CAR WONT REV PAST 5500 RPM AND ITS DRIVIN ME CRAZY!!!

I HAVE A F23A1 SINGLE CAM VTEC, RUNNIN A P28 CHIPPED ECU, A 94-95 SOHC VTEC ACCORD DISTRIBUTOR, F22A1 INJECTORS, CD5 INTAKE MANIFOLD, AND NO 02 SENSOR CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE?? I APPRECIATE ALL YOUR HELP THANX....

SYMPTOMS::: CAR RUNS FINE UP UNTIL 5000 RPM, IT SOUNDS LIKE THE ENGINE STRESSES AND REFUSES TO KEEP CLIMBIN REVS, WEN I HAD THE F22 DISTRIBUTOR I WOULD TAKE IT TO 7500 EASILY BUT IT WOULD CLIMB SLOWLY FROM 5000 TO 6000 REVS...IT ALSO IDLES FARELY BAD, AND WEN I STEP ON THE GAS LITELY AT 1500 REVS IT JERKED VIOLENTLY......ANY OPINIONS??

My bro's 90 Accord EX 5spd sedan has this issue of the motor idling fine, power from 0-5000 RPM was fine, then it took forever to climb from 5000-5500 RPM and once there, would go no further.

This all occurred after my father had taken it to a Honda dealer for timing belt replacement. Needless to say, I got involved and checked their work, they set the physical timing (timing belt) improperly and it was off. I realigned the Tbelt properly, made sure ignition timing was at 15 deg BTDC, all was good.

yep sounds like a timing related issue. sometimes diagnosing a problem requires reading between the lines... it can be difficult when said lines are all in CAPS!
