Last week till today,it's been a very tough time for me.I forgot there was a car parked behind me and reversed my car till I heard"bang!",got my rear bumper scratched last Saturday. And today I locked myself outside of the car when the engine was on,I finally managed to open the door by a iron pick, however my dorr rubber seal was broken and the window metal trim was also scratched..........
Yet this is not all. the grinding noise is getting louder when I hit exactly 1800-2000 rpm,and disappeared after that. The ticking sound is getting more aggresive and I could feel the car is slowering down. The rainy season started here, and it was pouring today the whole day.I had to turn my A/C on in order to remove the steam. After I turned the AC on,the car seemed to be much slower. I know turning on the AC will slower it down a bit.But it's just not that normal....
Ok,the point is,I really have no time during the weekdays to take it to the shop.Since I don't have a garage myself,I can't even check the engine bay while it's raining like crazy outside.I am just wondering what is the "thing" that slowering my car down.Could be the exhaust valve? Or cauz my valve gasket was bad and 2 of my spark plugs dipped in the oil? Or my EGR ports have been clogged since it bogs between 1500-1800?Or something else that I haven't figured out? The thing that I am really worrying about now is the loud grinding sound at 1800-2000 rpm,it only apprears when I accelerate, but not deaccelerate.Could be belt?
I was fooling myself that "wait a bit more,my car still drives ok".But today when I drove home in that big rain in my car which ran like crap,I really felt bad............
