today at 1pm i was on the fdr drive, and i went to switch lanes, when i went to accelerate, the car just revved as if in neutral.
so i paid no mind to it, thinking it was between shifts, boom it does it again, and continues to do it. so now i'm stuck doing 35 on the fdr (coasting).
i pulled over, turned it off, turned it back on and its fine.
when i got downtown, i pulled off, reset the ecu (using the fuse box, which i think did nothing), but it drove fine for about 20mins.
anytime it does it, i just turned it off and back on, and it was good to go.
it has 75k miles, oil change every 3k, i never changed tranny oil, and it isn't driven that hard. no cels or flashing shift light (d4, d3, etc.).
it did this for the rest of the day till now, i had to go to bklyn and ended up stuck on the brooklyn bridge. damn i'm so embarrased and nervous about how much its gonna cost that i'm rambling on for no reason.
someone please help, i need it fixed asap, i hope it won't own my pockets.
