    Ball Joint Trouble

Today i was trying to do my ball joint when i realized that the nut on the ball joint was messed up. So i tried everyway to get it off finally I just cut it off.
Now I cant separate the spindle from the ball joint. any idea how i can do this. Pittman puller isnt workin?

Did mine the other day had to go buy a bigger HAMMER (2.5lbs) and bang bang bang away (WD40 helps).
Also make sure the upper control arm is still attached tie rod shud be out and tied away.

shave the rest of that down and make it flush. then either retry that socket technique or take a bfh (big fucking hammer) or your handy pbt (precision bashing tool) and pound the shit out of that thing

are you sure you do it right
                put car on jack stand
get your jack at LCA then put a wrench in the gap low the jack
bj should pop out at this point

The shank is probably bent. Take out the entire assembly and work on it off the car.

If the wrench trick didnt do it, that probably wont either.

Take a long bar, wedge it between the subframe somewhere, and somehow life the upper control arm (with the knuckle i suppose), hammer away on the knuckle. this is how i always did it.

The other thing you can try, it taking a fine point chissel, put it in the groove you made there in the stud, and hammer away on the chissel (if its that far in the air already)

rent an air hammer! thats how I got mines out. a regular hammer will just bend the metal. an air hammer quickly jack hammers the metal making the ball joint vibrate out.
