    Replacement Header downpipe bolts

Does anyone know any good bolts to use as a replacement to the stock neuspeed header bolts where the top portion of the header meets the downpipe. I used a nut and bolt combo and it worked great for a long time until they walked out of me as i was driving.

I ended up doing the same thing again but is there another way? I can't seem to find the stock neuspeed ones anywhere. And the exhaust leak is driving me nuts!

You can get them at autozone. They go in just like stockers.

        Reviving an old thread.

Upon initial inspection, I though my header had cracked. I was wrong. Further inspection after removing the heat shield revealed that the bolts that connects the header to the down pipe probably broke. How exactly do they go in? I didn't see a hex head on either side of the bolt.

I looked at the image on Majestic, and they looked like studs. The picture was so small that I was unsure.

Basically they broke, and my down pipe can free move under my header by about 1/2". It's loud as all fuck. I need to fix this ASAP.

Well if they broke and there is enough of the stud sticking out, you might be able to grab them with vise grips. Otherwise your gonna have to use a reverse drill bit or a bolt extraction tool.

..., or just buy some cheapo header and down pipe off of Ebay. I'm looking into the cheaper route first.

I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't bother to see how much the studs cost + shipping. Might in fact be cheaper to just buy the cheap replacement. But then you might have to worry about having a raspy exhaust...

I just chalked it up, and spent $65 on a header from Ebay. I hope it comes with all of the hardware. This should eliminate any future problems for a while.
