So I need rebuilt calipers for my rear disc swap, the calipers I have appear to be seized. I had to pry them off the rotors. I know Honda doesn't recommend rebuilding calipers but the reman'd rears are crazy expensive; but rebuild kits are $5. So has anyone rebuilt them and how difficult is it?

rears dont pull out like fronts, you have to turn them, r u sure theire seized?

correct, the piston requires you to rotate them in. You can get the brake piston tool ( looks like a cube) for like 5 bux...or just use something to wedge in there and turn it.
if it is seized, Ive never rebuild a brake caliper, sorry

I did have to pry the calipers off, the P/o left the e-brake engaged. The seals look dried out and cracked to me. Oh well. I just picked up a new set from Peppy Boys today. They were cheap, have a lifetime warranty and calipers are easy to change anyway.Comment
