p13 ecu

I might need a p13 ecu but the guy said it came off of a automatic. I need it for a manual. Does auto or manual make a difference on the ecu's? I dont think it does but i also dont wanna be wrong and waste money on an ecu i cant use. thanks

They're not interchangeable. However, you can convert an automatic ecu to a manual and vice versa. There is a link on here somewhere that shows you how to do it. Do a search for it.
