    Throttle sticking

Okay guys, this never happened until I installed my Weapon R throttle rotor. I have since un-installed it(It's for sale if you want), but now after my car sits overnight I have to slam on the gas pedal to get the engine to rev. The pedal sticks at the top, and when I started it and pop the hood the rotor won't turn without a lot of pressure(I busted my knuckles!). I sprayed some WD40 on it, thinking that would help. It did, but it still sticks. Any ideas? Should I spray some WD40 on the butterfly?

hmm did you inspect the throttle body for any type of scarring or damage? try using some throttle body cleaner instead of wd40, cause the cleaner acts as lubricant too...

When reinstalling the rotor I had to play with the spring a bit. Could I have tightened it too much? How can I tell?

          $18 shipped? what color?

i'd respond otherwise but fizzy has this covered. Only thing i can suggest is the cable is too tight. U can also take a tiny bit of oil smear it around the edge of the throttle plate and the part of the tb that the plate makes contact with when its shut.

<<<had the same prob just not as bad and that helped it out alot. It needs lube not cleaning IMO

dude listen. its like this. u know those two things that adjust the throtle calbe. well they are lose. tight them up a little bit and u won't have that problem. i had that problem everytime i let the gas pedale it would get stuck. then i tight the two adjusting bolts a little bit and the problem is gone.
