    Battery Relocation

So I bought a battery relocation kit. My question is whether I need to fuse the power cable before I run it under the carpet to the remote battery terminal in the bay. I would think that if I needed one, it would have come in the kit, but the remote terminal didn't come in it either. Doesn't seem very safe to run a wire all the way to the front unfused, but I'm not an electrician. If I do need one, what amperage rating should I use? As a side not, I'm running 1/0 awg for my stereo, which is fused in case that plays into this at all.

it still keeps the main fuses in the box, so if it fux up it will pop the fuse there, unless you dont ground it out right n youll get a visit from a secret the bite in the ass monster

Got another question now. I think I know the answer, so just confirm if it's correct or not. Planning on just grounding the battery in the trunk and ground the remote terminal to something up front (crossmember maybe). That's fine right? There's no point in running a ground cable all the way from the battery to the remote ground terminal right?
